Seeing whales in May, the localers say, is VERY rare, they tend to all be gone from Hawaii by the end of March..This was the only picture out of about 10 that I took of these 3 whales that actually had any part of one in it!

This was the location along the Na Pali coastline that we stopped and snorkeled at for about an hour. What an experience freshwater snorkeling can be...Notice the reef that extends pretty well into the ocean that makes for great snorkeling.
